MindSoul Meditations was never intended to be just another wellness initiative.
It was created as a holding space—one where mental wellness, creativity, and human connection meet without pressure, judgment, or expectation.
Now entering its second season, MindSoul Meditations continues to evolve with intention, guided by the artists, partners, and communities that believe deeply in the importance of creative mental health support.
Rooted in Purpose, Grown Through Partnership
Season one of MindSoul Meditations was built through meaningful and values-aligned collaborations. Working alongside AWEdacity Women’s Network and 34 Gallery – Simuka Africa, a UN Volunteers mental health program, the foundation was set for a program that centers care, inclusion, and creative expression.
These early partnerships affirmed something essential:
artists need spaces that support their mental wellbeing as much as their creative output.
Season Two: Strengthening the Circle of Care
Season two represents a thoughtful expansion—not just in reach, but in depth.
This year, MindSoul Meditations is supported by partners who understand that sustainable creative wellness requires both emotional safety and structural support:
- Webbie Social, hosting Open Calls that invite artists into visually driven, intentional spaces free from noise and pressure
- 34 Gallery, continuing to champion the program by promoting it, introducing it to artists, and sponsoring access to HeyPeers, allowing support spaces to be offered through the gallery
- HeyPeers, providing the platform where facilitated peer support groups can take place—made accessible thanks to 34 Gallery’s sponsorship
This layered collaboration ensures that artists are not only invited into the program—but supported within it.
Face-to-Face, Human-Centered, and Grounded
What truly sets MindSoul Meditations apart is its commitment to presence.
This season places a strong focus on spending more time face to face with artists—coaching them through the creative process, helping them ground themselves, and guiding them as they work with mental wellness themes such as hope, healing, self-reflection, and resilience.
The work is not rushed.
The process is not judged.
The focus is not on outcomes, but on experience.
Artists are supported in learning how to:
- Center themselves before creating
- Work through emotional themes without overwhelm
- Use creativity as a grounding and regulating practice
Giving Artists Space to Speak — In Their Own Words
Another defining element of MindSoul Meditations is the emphasis on voice.
Each episode of MindSoul Meditations—airing on YouTube and other platforms—will feature a different artist sharing their personal story at the intersection of mental health and art.
These conversations explore:
- Why their work matters to them
- The impact creating art has had on their mental and emotional wellbeing
- How creativity helps them process, elevate, and make sense of their inner world
These are not interviews designed for critique or consumption.
They are non-judgemental spaces rooted in listening, witnessing, and respect.
In a world that often asks artists to explain themselves through metrics, markets, or trends, MindSoul Meditations asks something far more human:
What does creating this work do for you?
Why This Work Is Important
Mental wellness and creativity are deeply connected.
For many artists, creating is not optional—it is how they survive, cope, and heal.
MindSoul Meditations exists because artists deserve:
- Spaces that prioritize emotional safety
- Programs that recognize creativity as a form of self-regulation and care
- Communities that value process over performance
- Opportunities to be heard without being evaluated
This work matters because hope is not abstract.
Hope is cultivated through shared stories, creative expression, and being met with compassion.
The Value of MindSoul Meditations — And the Community It Holds
As MindSoul Meditations, I bring lived experience, intentional facilitation, and a deep respect for the vulnerability it takes to create and share. I bring structure without rigidity, guidance without control, and spaces designed to hold both silence and voice.
But the true value lies in the community itself.
Every artwork created, every story shared, every moment of presence contributes to a collective reminder:
we are not alone, and healing does not have to happen in isolation.
Looking Ahead
Season two is not about scaling quickly—it is about going deeper.
Deeper conversations.
Deeper trust.
Deeper connection.
MindSoul Meditations will continue to grow alongside the artists and partners who believe that mental wellness is not an afterthought—but a foundation.
And when creativity, care, and community come together, hope becomes something we don’t just talk about—
it becomes something we practice together.
