There are moments in this work when something arrives that reminds you exactly why you keep showing up. This is one of those moments.
Artist Simone Behrsing has created Mobility of Light — a collection of six original artworks described as a collection of resilience, hope, and bloom — and she built it as a collaboration for social purposes, in partnership with MindSoul Meditations and the art therapy initiatives we’ve been growing together. I am deeply, genuinely grateful.
I want to tell you about this collection, why it matters, and why I hope you’ll visit it.
What Is Mobility of Light?
Mobility of Light is a series of six luminous, painterly digital artworks by Simone Behrsing, available on Objkt.com on the Tezos blockchain. Each piece centres on a wheelchair — not as a symbol of limitation or loss, but as a vessel. A site of presence. A place where light still grows, where bloom reaches beyond motion, where invisible battles have their own garden.
The visual language is extraordinary: loose impressionistic brushwork, floods of warm gold and blue, wildflowers pressing in from every edge. These are not clinical images. They are alive. They are generous. They insist on beauty in the same spaces where the world too often insists on absence.

The Six Pieces
Each edition in the collection is offered in three editions:
A Place That Remembers Spring: A warmly lit interior where the chair rests beside spilling blooms — a space that holds memory the way a body holds tenderness.
Soft Recovery: Motion suggested through swirling water and light; the chair in the current of something healing.
Where Light Still Grows: A figure in full sun, surrounded by erupting white and gold — growth that doesn’t stop, even here.
Bloom Beyond Motion: Dynamic, kinetic, full of forward force — the chair in movement that transcends the physical.
The Weight of Water, The Strength of Bloom: The quiet paradox of holding heaviness and bursting forth at the same time.
Garden for Invisible Battles: Perhaps the most intimate — a garden for the struggles that don’t show, and the strength that doesn’t always announce itself.
Why This Collaboration Matters
At MindSoul Meditations, so much of what we do is about reclaiming the creative self — especially for artists and creatives who have been told, in explicit or invisible ways, that their body, their mind, or their story makes them less than fully welcome in creative spaces. We know that art therapy isn’t a luxury. It’s a pathway. For some people, it’s the first pathway that actually works.
When Simone reached out to make Mobility of Light a collaboration for social purposes — directing a portion of proceeds toward art therapy access for artists and creatives — she wasn’t just making a generous gesture. She was making an argument with her art: that this community deserves to be seen, supported, and given tools to heal.
That argument, made in paint and light and gold-flecked flowers, is one of the most moving things I’ve received in this work. I want to honour it by making sure as many people as possible hear about it.

About Simone Behrsing
Simone Behrsing is an artist working at the intersection of emotional truth and visual storytelling. Her work is characterized by rich painterly textures, an expansive use of colour, and a persistent attentiveness to the interior lives of her subjects. Mobility of Light represents some of her most purposeful work to date — art made not only to be beautiful, but to do something meaningful in the world.
