MindSoul Meditations — Artist Terms & Submission Agreement
Last updated: July 16, 2026
These Artist Terms ("Terms") apply to anyone who submits artwork, writing, or other creative material ("Submission") to MindSoul Meditations, including through the Art Therapy with MindSoul Meditations series, open calls, or partner platforms such as Webbie Social. By submitting, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be the sole creator and owner of the rights to any Submission, or have full authority from the rights holder(s) to submit it. Submissions must be your own original work and must not infringe anyone else's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
2. What You're Granting Us
By submitting, you grant MindSoul Meditations a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to reproduce, display, and distribute your Submission (and your name, artist bio, and likeness where provided) in connection with:
- The relevant open call, Season, episode, or exhibition
- MindSoul's website, social media, newsletters, and Patreon
- Promotional materials for MindSoul, Webbie Social, and named program partners
You retain full ownership and copyright of your work. This license does not prevent you from selling, licensing, or displaying your work elsewhere.
3. Credit
We will credit you by the name you provide at submission wherever your work is featured. It's your responsibility to let us know if your artist name or bio changes.
4. Selection
Submission does not guarantee inclusion. Selections are made at MindSoul's discretion (and, where applicable, in partnership with co-presenting organizations or jurors). We'll do our best to notify all applicants of the outcome, but response isn't guaranteed for every open call.
5. Compensation
Unless a specific open call states otherwise in its individual call details, participation is unpaid/volunteer, and any honoraria, prizes, or fundraising proceeds will be described separately in that call's terms.
6. Withdrawal
You may withdraw a Submission before it has been publicly featured by contacting us. Once artwork has been published as part of a Season, episode, or archived exhibition, we may retain the published record (crediting you) even if you later withdraw from future participation.
7. Content Standards
Submissions must not contain hate speech, harassment, sexually explicit material involving minors, or content that promotes violence or illegal activity. We reserve the right to decline or remove any Submission that violates these standards.
8. Privacy
Any personal information you provide with your Submission is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer & Liability
Submissions are provided "as is." MindSoul Meditations is not liable for loss, damage, or unauthorized use of Submissions by third parties outside our control. To the extent permitted by law, MindSoul's liability arising from these Terms is limited to direct damages, if any.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. This applies regardless of where you, as a submitting artist, are located — MindSoul welcomes and reviews submissions from artists worldwide, and by submitting you agree that Ontario law governs any dispute arising from these Terms.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued submission after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
